Merry Christmas

Ahhh Christmas. I'm writing this from Angel's house as she begins to make breakfast. I just helped to feed Haylee, and Chelsea drove the car next door to get some flour... Chels driving when it seems like yesterday she was 8 years old is still something I'm trying to wrap my mind around. It's just nice to be here....feels like home.

So where have I been? Where haven't I been! Since my birthday blog, it seems my work life has consumed most of my time and energy. Luckily I have the best boyfriend EVER and Chris has been wonderful with putting up with my crap when I become too tired to function, as well as putting dinner on the table. Sigh....he's my Chris!

So in the span of one week at work, my boss took a new job, I got a new manager for 48 hours, the department was restructured and then I got another new boss and new head of our department. Not much to phase this Adelphia-in-bankruptcy/2-and-a-half-years-of-uncertainty expert, but not a fun experience. My job is ok, but I will say that in times like these, I'm glad I've got such good social and professional networking skills because if something goes wrong, knowing people helps tremendously. Why the restructuring? Well, I work at a bank and if you haven't heard, there was a little something last year called the sub-prime mortgage crisis.... Google it and you'll see what I mean.

So I am home for 5 days of running around and visiting family, topped off by what should be a very fun Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Today I'll leave Angel's house, go visit with Jenn, stop in to see my Gramma, locate my dad somewhere in McKean County, then head back to Olean.

While we are here, we have Pooka with is. Hopefully I'll have some pics of his holiday craziness. What I don't have is my beautifully decorated Christmas tree. How I got that tree is a long story for another time, but needless to say, I got a smokin' deal at Target. I had several red and gold ornnaments, but with a bigger tree, I did get some additional ornaments. Enjoy the beauty that is my tree....and have a Merry Christmas!

See Santa there? He's been in my family since I was a little girl. He rocks! Don't ask me how we managed to get all those presents, a cat, and our luggage in our car, but we made it!

Merry Christmas to All!
